Regulatory Review of the Drigg Repository

The low level radioactive waste repository located near the coast at Drigg in Cumbria is a key national asset for the UK nuclear decommissioning programme. However the future operation of the repository is in some doubt because of questions about the radiological disposal capacity of the site and the potential impact of rising sea levels caused by climate change.
